My heart is just melting. Mia CAN NOT wait to meet her new buddy. I showed her pictures of Salem tonight and she smiled, cooed and pointed. :)

Hello Scott & Amy,

Meredith sent me the link to your blog. We live in Changsha, not far from Nanchang! We take special interest in your adoption -- I have been helping in the state orphanage here, and seen the orphanage lives of children like your daughter Salem. My experience compelled us to consider adoption, but you know the prohibitive rules, must be 30 years old, etc. Thankfully, we were given the opportunity to foster a boy in our home while he waits to be adopted.

That's our short story -- I loved reading your & Salem's story here on your blog. I'm sure you know how dramatically you will change her life. We have a few friends who grew up in a Chinese orphanage, are now young adults and were never adopted...it's terribly sad. But they are in the Father's hands too. I am not sharing this to sadden you, but rather to rejoice that Salem will have a family. And I'm crying now...

bless you guys.
